• In 2012, DelcoAD Brought Over $3.2M in Federal Tax Refunds to Delaware County Communities!

    Many thanks to all DelcoAD volunteers, partners, tax filers and supporters 
    for a successful 9th year of free tax preparation in Delaware County!
    DelcoAD partners hosted 10 VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) sites and one TCE (Tax Counseling for the Elderly) to prepare a total of 2,441 returns bringing $3,294,629 in federal refunds back into the hands of Delaware County taxpayers!

    Chester Housing Authority's Booker T. Washington Community Center hosted a VITA site for its second year. Swarthmore volunteers presented Site Coordinator, Carolyn Evans, with flowers at the Volunteer Recognition Event on April 23rd after receiving their IRS certificates.

     

    Bank of America Donates $10,000 to Help Eligible Delaware County Residents Take Advantage of EITC

    DelcoAD was selected by the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania as the recipient of a generous donation by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.  DelcoAD VITA sites offer financial education and affordable financial products that accelerate individuals’ progress toward financial stability by providing longer-term benefits to the EITC and other credits received at tax time.  Pictured from left to right are Bassam M.
